Specialists from COTES participated in Danfoss workshop

On December 5-9, 2011 the specialists from COTES attended a workshop held by Danfoss in Denmark. The event covered the issues related to the application of variable frequency drives and soft starters for heat and water supply systems. The programme of the workshop included the tours to the factories where Danfoss manufactures its variable frequency drives.

The workshop was held within the framework of RF Law No. 261-ФЗ on Energy Efficiency. The issues related to cost-efficiency analysis for equipment application, as well as energy efficiency and engineering aspects of equipment operation were discussed during this event. The acquired information will be used in design and application of energy-efficient technologies at power plants.
